Are you looking to upgrade or build a new pc with awesome graphic capabilities? If so, I have an amazing deal on two GeForce 680's 4GB DDR5 Video Cards. I'm selling them both for a total of $400 which is $200 per card. I bought these for over $500 each a couple years ago and they still smoke anything that I throw at them and this even includes gaming at 4K resolutions!! I have nothing but good things to say about the cards. No problems or issues, never been overclocked and they run nice and quiet.

I'm in need of the money and will eventually build back up another pc. I've pretty much switched over to my PS4 and Xbox One for gaming. Firm on price. Please email first if interested. Cards come with original box. Local pick up or shipping available. The $400 for both cards also includes shipping.

Question sbout sharpness of a F8500 and a VT50

$

I have a Samsung 64" F8500 and a Panasonic 50" VT50. Both both have very good picture quality but the picture detail on the VT50 is not as sharp as the F8500. I have the F8500 sharpness set at 50 and the VT50 sharpness set at 100 and the detail on the F8500 is still sharper. The VT50 was ISF calibrated before I purchased it. I am not a professional calibrator and a curious to know if the sharpness level can be calibrated in the service mode to raise the sharpness level on the VT50?

Any and all replies will be appreciated,
Thank You,

Home Theater System suggestion please help

Hi guys,

I have been using an Infinity Entra Point Five home theatre system since 2002. Today I went to turn on some music and my subwoofer was unresponsive. I have a 2yr old Denon AVR1712 receiver so I am guessing it's time for new speakers. I currently have a terrible room for my setup but it's been working.

The room is 11x20 with 12-14 ft vaulted ceilings. There is a fireplace in the room which ruins the way I can setup my system. Currently the TV is in the corner of the room and I sit 9-10 feet back. Due to the weird setup, the left rear speaker is behind me to the left, but the right rear is slightly in front of me to my right due to the cockeyed setup.

My wife's bday is next week and I need speakers to run music. What is the best way to spend my 600 dollars. I looked at the Polk tl250, energy take, and the pioneer setup that is often recommended with the towers and bookshelves. Which speakers would you get in that price range? Thank you immensely for any and all help.

need help to decide which receiver or pro marantz

I have an integra DTR 40.3. I tried an nad T777 and it made next to no difference in sound. Ive tried many units in the last 5 years or so and can't really tell a sound difference. I'm more of the amp and receivers in general don't sound much different except in room correction etc.

Anyways I'm still wanting to get a new receiver maybe. So I'm looking at the Marantz 7009 or av77 02 with mm7055. Just curious for opinions.

Home Theater small bedroom ideas, help?

I'm trying to figure out if I should just get Soundbar or an 5.1 home theater system?Pretty much I have an pretty small room, I have an Sony led 55 inch mounted above my dresser and on top of my dresser is direct tv box and dvd bluray player. Anyways I'm not even sure If i should move my dresser and put an entertainment center there because having too many stuff on top of it, not to mention I might get even more things on top like an Xbox One or av receiver depending on what I'm gonna do, but then again I wouldn't mind the dresser because it saves me a lot of room. Bottom line is I'm just trying to make my small bedroom home theaterish looking, nothing too fancy, just an clean look. So what do you guys think, how will you have set up and 5.1 or soundbar, and what speakers, receiver, or soundbar do you recommend? 1) 55 inch hdtv, I view it from 9 feet 2) Video equipment: Bluray and direct tv box. Here are some pics. Remember I just want an decent look http://s679.photobucket.com/user/Chr...t=3&page=1

Getting tax returns, what to invest in a video camera. need help

I don't know much about video cameras, right off the bat I can't spend too much money, this might sound low but i'm looking to spend maybe 200-300 dollars.

It doesn't need to be an extremely fancy camera

purposes and what i'm looking for...
I mainly want to use it for making youtube videos, shot indoors.
nothing TOO fancy, but I still want a bang for the buck camera in a sense, i'm not some professional or anything but I like to at least get a quality product.
HD
Probably digital
simple to use, I'm not THAT great with new technology.
I will be using the camera for videos of myself talking mainly, I feel like the details of that are unimportant, but i DO want very good sound quality so my next question is...

is there a good microphone I can find for 50-100 dollars?
this is I would say equally as important to the camera itself.
probably want directional sound
clear quality etc
I was checking out the "blue yeti" and it seems like it's getting alot of praise for the price. so I'm just going to reference that for now but in no way am i SET on it or anything.

I would love for the products to be used together with RELATIVE ease.
again I can't stress enough about sound quality being equally as important as video quality, if not MORE important.

if you can help me out would appreciate suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Occasional noise from left speaker

Hi.
I bought Logitech z906 5.1 in august. And lately the left speaker has started making static noise every 2 minute, and often more frequently.
I have tried switching the left and right speaker to check if it was the speaker, but the noise kept going so it wasnt the speaker.. I have tried to unplug the speaker cables both from the sub and the speaker, and put it back, but without luck.. The noise keep coming..
Can anyone help me giving me more clues to what it may be?

iNuke ohm question

Can an iNuke run at 2 ohms in bridged mode or will it shut off the amp?

I'm wiring up a dual 12in subwoofer. Both woofers are 500rms and have dual 8ohm voice coils. So I can either wire them for 32 ohms (not going to happen) or 2 ohms.
I saw somewhere else that the 3000dsp puts out around 1000 rms into 1 channel at 2 ohms, so I may have to go that way if it can't be run at 2ohms in bridged mode.

Other option is I can cancel my iNuke order and get a different amp that can handle it of anyone has any other suggestions.

Thanks

Viera tc-l55et5 screen troubleshooting

Hi
I need help with my panasonic Viera, model tc-l55et5.
It got tiny white semitransparent vertical lines/strips all over the screen. The picture freezes every couple of seconds.
It happened 3 month ago, so I turned off and after overnight stay everything disappeared. So for now I tried to turn of/on but it's useless. The strips kind of a moving from left side to centre, sometimes getting almost invisible.
So I'm trying to figure out is it a motherboard?

Thanks guys.

What is DTS Headphone X and how does it work with Dolby Digital Live?

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone explain what DTS Headphone X is and how it works on a PC using DDL? I was told in new headphones I got that unless I have a sound card which supports Dolby Digital Live - I would not hear DTS Headphone X stream....:/

HDMI from PC to TV.

Currently, I connect my desktop to my TV, via HDMI from my video card, to the HDMI input of my TV.

My TV (Kuro pro-111fd) can connect to a network, but doesn't have apps, as that wasn't available at the time.

I'll be moving in a few weeks, and my computer might be farther from my TV than it currently is.

What are some options, and pros/cons, of the following? Here's what I'm considering:

1. Iogear GW3DHDKIT wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver.

http://www.amazon.com/IOGEAR-GW3DHDK...cm_rdp_product

$213

100 foot range.

2. 15 foot HDMI cable

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000O5N5AI/...IYJWK5WQ&psc=1

$4.52

I'm not sure how far apart the computer and TV will be, will have to see once I actually move and see what makes sense.

If they're within 10 feet or less, I'm thinking cable.

If they're farther apart than 15 feet, I'm thinking of the wireless option. I could get a 25 foot cable for $7-$12, but I'm thinking a wireless option might give a better look, and avoid having a wire across a main area.

I have a Chromecast, but it can't find my wireless network, and even if it could, I wouldn't want something with only a 15' range. Hence the Iogear option seems better, as it provides more range.

Thoughts? Are there other alternatives one would recommend?

Also, question about the Iogear 100 foot range. If the receiver were hypothetically on the bottom floor of a house, and the transmitter was 30 feet across, but up one floor (hence going through the ceiling), do you think it would be within range, and work well?

Small sub big sound - Ideas?

$

So I am looking for a subwoofer and I'm looking into DIY options. Here are the quick requirements:

- needs to perform as well as the SVS PB1000 or better
- Size matters - 18" cube or smaller is desirable. I'd maybe go to a 20" cube if the difference would literally be astronomical but not for just a small bump
- Minimal tools so I would need a flatpack that is already cut etc but I'm decent with building things and have some experience
- accuracy is critical even though its almost 100% for movies I want very clean bass not a boom box
- I would like to do this for $300 or less - If I'm paying more - like $500 - it needs to perform like a PB2000
- my current room is ~3000 cubic feet (that includes the open kitchen/dining/etc)

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi All,

I've never owned a nice sub but finally want to get one for my garage/mancave. Looking for advice before I order.

Garage specs:
600 sq ft, 9ft ceilings (5400 cubic sq ft), rectangle shape
Insulated ceiling and garage doors
Concrete floor covered in epoxy (not sure it matters but just trying to be descriptive)
I'm limited to putting the sub where the blue cat box is in the attached picture. The catbox will be moved and replaced by the sub.

Current set up:
60 inch samsung led tv
2 def tech mythos 9's on sides of TV
Harman kardon AVR 2700

I use this for Music 80%, Gaming/Home Theater 20%
Music: classic rock, dance, pop, and some rap
$1000 firm budget

Considering the following subs...

First: hsu vtf-3 mk5. This one is in the lead right now because it sounds like I can set it up to be sealed for music and switch to ported for gaming/ht and reviews seem really strong.

Second: reaction ps-15x. Was ready to get this one until reading more on the forum but still a contender because of good reviews, lower price and sealed which works best for my music which is most important. Is this sub big enough for this space?

Any other contenders that you think I'm leaving out based on the info above? Will the hsu make my music sound amazing? Is it easy to switch from sealed to ported on the hsu?

Thanks in advance!

Please, I need some advice

I need some expert opinions. The HDMI board on my Denon AVR-590 went out and I am replacing it. I am deciding between two options because I want to do this the very next day and simply buy it locally. Here are the options:

Yamaha RX-V477 vs Sony STR-DH750

A little background info - I only have a 5.1 setup and it will remain that way. I am not concerned about internet connectivity, although bluetooth might be nice...not a deal breaker either way.

Opinion?

Thank you!!!

Screen Recommendations for Sony HW50ES

My HT in progress is coming along nicely and I might be getting to the point where I'm ready for a screen. The HT is in the basement which only has windows in the back of the room. I will most likely end up having a curtain running across the room which should take care of the windows. The room is 27' long, so I'm using the curtain to deal with the light as well as divide the room up. If I don't, I'll definitely have something directly on the windows. I currently have white ceiling tiles, but will be looking at replacing them with black.

100" Fixed

I want to stay under $1K. I was originally looking at an Elite Screen which is <$300, but then was recommended/offered a Dragonfly DF-SL-1000 Matte White for about $750.

Thanks,
Adrian
