I have had the Osprey beta box designed for DirecTV Now for about three weeks. While it has great potential depending on price when released, it is currently not ready for prime time since it has HDR enabled at all times sort of like how HDR is enabled by XBOX one when you open the app.
The positives it is built around Android TV. It is 4K capable and has HDR10 (always on), no setting to disable it yet. The Osprey up-converts everything to 4K (four resolutions to choose from, all 4K).
Hopefully once they work out the bugs it will be very useful. My guess is it will be at least 50 to 100 if it is ever released. It is not a dongle so it needs to sit on something flat. The power plug is pretty big but it has mounting screws to mount to the wall. Hopefully they can slim the power plug down a little bit. Remote is decent. The D pad is a little stiff and is missing a guide button and a last channel button.
PDF Manual was to large to upload. I will upload some pictures of the user interface sometime this weekend.
